Long Island’s newest art gallery, M Frank Gallery, just opened their doors for a premiere first exhibit in Syosset in Nassau County. When I interviewed Maya Frank, artist and gallery owner for our premiere issue, she told me it was her dream to open a gallery to showcase her work. She is hoping to support fellow artists, businesses with a place for networking and charities for a place to host fund raisers of all kinds.

M Frank Gallery opens
with walls adorned with Maya’s work, sized from small drawings to bigger than life sized paintings. The gallery also features fashionwear and accessories like beautiful handbags designed by Maya, with her art featured in the design.

Born in Russia, Maya has lived in various countries, including Israel before moving to the US. In addition to painting, Maya has performed in ballet and acts in TV in NY based series. Maya is a lover of classic cars. Her classic cars are featured in movies and TV.
M Frank Gallery is also hosting a collection of my work, an underwater subset of my Here There Everywhere curated exhibition. My featured works include sixteen by sixteen inch photographic prints on aluminum plates representing creatures found on Ningaloo Reef and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Part of the collection hails from Bali, Indonesia, and all of the islands to the east, reaching Komodo, Island.

Artist Scott McDevitt of Lantana, Florida is also represented in the opening exhibition. His 6 pieces can be seen below.

Syosset is a great place
for an art gallery. M Frank Gallery is located at 349 Jericho Turnpike, just west of South Oyster Bay Road the gallery is directly across the street from one of our favorite family Italian restaurants, Chris and Tony’s. Japanese restaurant Kashi shares the parking lot with M Frank making the art gallery a perfect shared experience before or after dinner. Steak house Rare 360 is just down the block, as is Mamoun’s Falafel for those seeking lighter fare.
Viewing is by appointment, allowing Maya to follow the ever changing CDC covid guidelines. Artists are invited to reach out for future exhibits. Please give Maya Frank a call at 631 793 6009 if you are looking for a place to host an event for networking or fundraising. Dunkin Donuts is right next door, so the coffee will always be warm. The open floor plan makes the gallery a perfect location set for movies, tv and photoshoots.
